Background
The process begins with a telephone survey on mobility on a weekday with the aim of knowing in detail the habits and travel needs of citizens on a weekday.
The survey was carried out on 400 people living in Sant Feliu de Llobregat over the age of 16 between February 11 and 17, 2025.
The main results are:
136,000 trips on a typical weekday
More than 91% of the population travels regularly, with an average of 3.46 trips/day. This value is slightly lower than that of the EMEF 2024 (3.5 – 4.3 trips/day).

Internal trips represent 57% of the total
Connecting trips (to/from other municipalities) represent 39%
Main destinations: Barcelona (37%), Sant Joan Despí and Sant Just Desvern (9%), Cornellà (8%), Molins de Rei (6%), L’Hospitalet (5%)
The use of public transport represents almost a third of the trips made, although the main mode to go to other municipalities continues to be the private vehicle with 59%. Active mobility is significant, at 8%.
Mobility trend:
Considering both internal and connecting trips, compared to the results of 2011:
Substantial increase in the use of public transport, reaching almost 20,000 trips/day.
Increase in active modes, exceeding 70,000 trips/day. Especially mobility by bicycle, scooters or personal mobility vehicles which has tripled.
Reduction in the use of private motorized vehicles, standing at around 46,000 trips/day.
These data align with the annual results obtained from the use of the urban bus service, with values close to 500,000 trips/year, and the AMbici service, with a very notable growth in its use in the city.
The use of pure electric vehicles is still low and represents less than 1% of the total trips made on a typical working day.
As other notable results, the survey shows a clear consolidation of teleworking as a substantial factor in the configuration of urban mobility and one in three workers states that they do so.
Objectives
The objectives of the plan are:
Pedestrian axis network: Articulate a network of civic and green axes that give structure to the municipality and connect it with its natural and metropolitan environment.
Bicycle and VMP network: Consolidate the network of bicycles and personal mobility vehicles at a local and metropolitan scale.
Private vehicle network: Optimize the functionality of the road network.
Public transport network: Design of the future public transport network optimizing urban and interurban services and promoting intermodality.
Goods and parking: Rationalize the occupation of public space by private vehicles and improve the efficiency of the DUM.

Participatory actions
Participation is carried out in 2 moments. A first part of diagnosis and assessment of the current situation of the city. And a second phase of proposals that give an output to the analyzed reality.
During the spring festivals, on Saturday at the participation stand on Pg Bertrand Street, a first collection of residents' views on mobility will be held.
