The reality of this previous Plan was a technical instability of the Youth program with existing policies that affected the contents of the Plan by inertia but without effective monitoring of the same.
Context
We come from generations of young people with high levels of training ("titulitis") and specialization, permeable to the constant evolution of communication and information technologies, trapped by the precariousness of the professional world and the unbearable prices of housing. Youth precariousness began in the late 1990s, but the economic crisis of 2008 and the current health crisis of 2020 fully affected the living conditions of young people. Discourses of the criminalization of the collective emerge without an empathic look.
Special attention must be paid to the educational, professional and social gap of young people with diverse backgrounds. The young population with global origins has an increasing demographic weight in the group itself and the indicators of integration are very negative.
Targets
Thus, the objectives of the process are:
Address the problems and challenges of young people (extended conception: from 12 to 35 years) in its various dimensions: world of work, professional and training; housing; diversity and intersections in the collective; socialization, leisure and recreation; relationship with new technologies; ...
To concretize through a wide participatory process policies, axes, objectives and measures towards the group of young people of Sant Feliu de Llobregat.
The Youth program must get out of the mental drawer of youth leisure and leisure policies to get involved in the cross-cutting policies of the first point
Participatory actions
The Youth Center and the ecosystem of youth organizations are central pillars of the Youth program. Therefore, a project to improve the synergies between the facility and the youth organizations was considered a priority. The process of the new local plan should be an opportunity to map out the youth map and incorporate new actors into the program community.
