The future Plaça de la Vila will have a fountain: the Font de la Rosa. This was decided by the citizens through the participatory action that was carried out this November, based on a survey enabled on the Participa 311 (Decidim) platform.
The Font de la Rosa is the most voted option of the three proposed in the participatory action and as its name suggests, it takes the shape of this flower, symbol of Sant Feliu. It has a fountain located in the center from which water comes out that, as it flows, fills this new sculptural piece in the city center.
Of the census of 40,772 people, a total of 388 people participated in the survey, of which 227 voted that they would like Plaça de la Vila to have a fountain and 161 voted that they would not. Of the votes in favor, 75 (33.04%) voted for the Font de la Rosa, 73 (32.16%) for the Esperit de la font and 51 (22.47%) for the Font seca. The remaining 28 (12.33%) voted that they do want a fountain but did not show a preference for any of the three.
The remodeling of the downtown area that will entail the reform of Plaça de la Vila is scheduled to begin in January 2026 and the entire work will last 13 months. Once the work is completed, the Font de la Rosa will be installed.
